42nd ECLSO CONGRESS – NICE 2012

September 14–16, 2012, Nice, France

The 42nd ECLSO was held in Nice from September 14th to 16th, 2012, attended by 350 ophthalmologists from around the world and 15 ophthalmologists from Serbia, members of our association. Eminent speakers discussed Keratoconus and its treatment possibilities, new types of contact lenses, and treatments of the anterior segment.

Additionally, 4 educational courses were held under the auspices of the EBO (European Board of Ophthalmology), where lecturers, leaders in their fields, covered topics such as “Fitting of soft contact lenses, orthokeratology, and contact lens fitting for babies and patients with irregular corneas.”

This year, as in previous years, Prim. Mr. Sci. Dr. Valentina Dimitrijević Milovanović gave an invited lecture at the EBO educational course and served as the chairperson of the first session of the congress alongside Dr. Florence Malet (France) and Dr. Bruce Koffler (USA); Prim. Dr. Ljiljana Kovač gave a lecture on lens fitting for babies and adolescents.
