COLSS ANNUAL ASSEMBLY 2026

The Annual Assembly of the Society of Ophthalmologists Contact Lens Specialists of Serbia (COLSS) was held on March 13, 2026 in Belgrade.

At the Assembly, amendments to the Statute were unanimously adopted, with the aim of aligning with contemporary standards. Through a better definition of the Society’s work, the field of ocular surface was also included, and membership was enabled for doctors undergoing specialization in ophthalmology.

The activities of the Society were presented, including the launch of a new website and the opening of a new e-mail address, as well as the sponsorship of young doctors for the ECLSO congress in Vienna. During the Assembly, the YO COLSS panel was also held, at which young doctors each presented an interesting topic, with a discussion on the popularization of contact lens practice among young ophthalmologists.

Within the financial report, revenues and expenditures from 2025 were presented, including funds generated during the Symposium and membership fees.

Finally, additional plans for the current year were presented, with a special focus on the planning of the COLSS Symposium to be held in 2027.
