Dear colleagues and friends, it was our great pleasure to organize the Sixth Symposium on Contactology “New Trends in Contactology” on May 8, 2024, at the Holiday Inn Hotel in Belgrade.
The initial idea was to share knowledge about new technologies and materials in contactology and the artificial tear production industry. The number of participants exceeded our expectations, the topics were diverse and engaging, and we are grateful to all lecturers and participants who dedicated their time.
International Guest
We were honored to host Prof. Dr. Ömür Uçakhan-Gunduz from Ankara. As the Secretary General of the European Society (ECLSO), her visit represents an additional motivation for our society.
Special thanks go to our sponsors, companies that have been collaborating with the Society for years. Thanks to an adequate turnout, the annual Assembly was held, during which a new leadership team of the Contact Lens Society of Serbia was elected.
We hope that together we will contribute to the development and reputation of our Society, thereby justifying the trust of all our teachers-ophthalmologists who laid its foundations.
